Business Controller at SmartLockr

As our Business Controller you will be able to have a big impact through in-dept analysis of our data. You will act as a Finance Business Partner and advise our management and stakeholders on financial and business related topics. In addition to driving our financial planning, forecasting, performance management, and analysis efforts, you'll have the opportunity to turn these insights into initiatives and drive strategic decisions to improve the efficiency and growth of our business.

Your daily tasks and responsibilities

• Acting as a Finance business partner, advising our management and stakeholders on financial and business-related matters;
• Design and develop real-time dashboards and KPI settings;
• Performing financial scenario analysis to support strategic decision making;
• You will work closely with various departments within SmartLockr to surface insights, track operational and financial goals, and develop business plans and financial forecasts;
• Create short- and long-term P&L forecasts, in cooperation with our Finance Manager;
• Maintain and improve internal control of business related processes and control the financial statements;
• Guiding and advising our Finance Manager, regarding our financial/administration processes.

Who you are

• Bachelor degree, preferably in finance, accounting or economics;
• 3 – 5 years of working experience as a Business Controller or a related analytical role;
• Knowledge of SaaS business models;
• Experience working with Accounting systems (e.g. Exact Online) and dashboarding tools;
• Fluent in Dutch (and English);
• Knowledge of Dutch tax and legislation ;
• Strong analytical skills, with an eye for detail;
• You are able to communicate effectively and are comfortable presenting to different stakeholders at all levels.
