Worldwide, more than 156 million emails are sent every minute. Many organizations are not aware that email is a weak link within their privacy & security chain. While technology has developed considerably in recent years, the technology behind email remains outdated. This makes email vulnerable for threats from the outside world. 

Today, due to new privacy regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), secure email has become top priority for many organizations.


With SmartLockr, we ensure that organizations can continue to use email, but with the safety standards of today: safe, intuitive and easy to use. We are a young company with a flat organizational structure, which means you will be working with the founding team. Your opinion and vision is of equal importance to us.


In 2014 we got selected as one of the 9 companies from over 360 applicants worldwide, to participate in the Microsoft Accelerator Program in Berlin. This is why we are active on the German market as well. 

To support our international growth we are looking for an Entrepreneurial Sales Manager for the German market.


This can either be a German living in the Netherlands and work from our Amsterdam office or someone in Germany and work from our Berlin office.


As Sales Manager you will:

  • Work directly with the CEO;
  • Discover (more) opportunities for the German market;
  • Setup creative sales campaigns for the German market;
  • Build your own sales team and manage them;
  • Manage Pipedrive funnels, goals and statistics;
  • Give (online) product info and demo's to potential new customers;
  • Send offers and close deals!


  • Entrepreneurial and sales attitude;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as sales manager or 5 years' as sales executive/account manager;
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with selling software (as a service) preferably in B2B;
  • Strong experience with sales system like Salesforce or Pipedrive;
  • Experience with the German market and culture, preferably German nationality;
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written in German and English;
  • If working from Germany you will travel to the Netherlands ones per month.
